Are you offended?

Don’t we get easily offended? Sometimes the neighbours say something about us and we get offended. Sometimes it can be our colleagues. Others backbite about us and we get easily hurt.

Can we change other’s heart? It’s a big NO. Only the Lord Jesus can.So why do we worry about other’s attitude towards us?

25 And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?

26 If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest? – Luke 12

By worrying, does anything change? Worrying isn’t helpful by any way.

So what do we do when we get irritated and annoyed by others?

This is what God says,

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Leave the matter with God and make sure you leave it 100% with Him. He knows best to handle the situation.

All things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Remember, even this annoying situation is also working together for good for every born again child of God who loves Him and called according to His purpose.

Nothing comes to a child of God, without our Heavenly Father permitting it. Sometimes when we receive something good from God, we thank Him. When an unfortunate or annoying situation arises, we don’t think that even this situation came to us after our Heavenly Father permitted it. It might be difficult for us to view the situation from God’s view point and we are unable to thank our Father for permitting this in our lives.

In eternity it will be revealed to us, why this situation was permitted and undoubtedly we would thank Him with all our heart. Lord Jesus, in all circumstances please remind us that your love permitted this situation to come into our lives. Let’s learn what you are trying to teach us and let’s not miss out the blessing which is hidden inside such unpleasant circumstances.
