Annoying people?

Don’t we get annoyed sometimes by others? Are we not easily offended?

If someone doesn’t agree with our view points, doesn’t it upset us?

Jesus lived in a perfect peaceful, calm environment. The best place which we can ever think of – the heaven.

When He came to the earth, living in midst of irritable human beings, how He would have felt. Was He annoyed? How did He react?

We react with a grumpy face at the slightest offensive comment. But Jesus could sympathise with our human weakness. His great love made Him to overlook our offensive nature. He loved us.

If someone keeps swearing, we just become unrest after a while. The Lord migrated from a perfect holy place down to this lowly unholy earth. Not for a week or so, for years altogether. We can’t bear annoying people. We get offended, we tend to avoid people with whom we don’t get along well. I guess if someone is drunk, and swearing and being aggressive we would be uncomfortable and would want to leave that place soon. The Lord came into this world knowing He is entering into an imperfect unholy world. He loved us and looked beyond our weaknesses.

And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. – 1 Peter 4:8

May the Lord help us to follow His example as mentioned in the Bible – 1Peter 19-24

19 For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.

20 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.

21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:

24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

We have been forgiven abundantly, so lets forgive others and leave the matter in the hands of God who alone can judge righteously.
