Role of a Christian woman

Titus 2

The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

1 Timothy 5:14

14 I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.

Colossians 3:18

18 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.

Ephesians 5

22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. –> It does not imply to be subject to a violent or an abusive husband. Also if the husband insists on something which is contradictory to the Lord’s clear teaching, there is no need to obey that particular thing, because a woman has to give more importance to the headship of Christ and then to the headship of her husband.

33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
